Actually clinical depression is more of a disorder rather than an illness since it basically covers only those who are suffering from symptoms related to depression. Clinical depression is how doctors usually refer to "depression" when giving a diagnose of their patient. It's basically just a medical term.

However, in spite of being an actual disorder, Clinical depression may well be treated. Doctors are actually highly optimistic that their patients who are suffering from Clinical disorder will be well on their way towards good mental health as long as they treated as soon as they have been diagnosed with Clinical depression. Patients who have been seeking for treatments for Clinical depression have proven to be quite successful in their quest, given that 80 percent of actual Clinical depression patients have been treated and has somewhat found relief from their disorder.

For those who may be seeking some answers for their Clinical depression related questions, the depression section of the health center is highly recommended, as well as books on psychiatry and the internet - which can offer a lot of helpful information with regards to Clinical depression although self-medication/treatment is highly disapproved of. Clinical depression may not pose as much as a threat as the other types of depression, but it is best to leave it to the hands of professionals who can safely attend to and cure this disorder.

The tell-tale symptoms of depression

People who may be suffering from depression or manic disorders actually exhibit or show each and every kind of symptom of depression that doctors will tell you that depressed people have. Sometimes it’s actually quite easy to overlook such symptoms and not be able to help one’s self or others who are suffering from depression for that matter.

There are actually a lot of symptoms of depression that depressed people may actually posses but they don’t have to suffer from each and every one of them before you actually help them get diagnosed and be treated for this illness. Also, since symptoms of depression actually vary, the time of their "attacks" varies as well.

Here are some common examples of symptoms of depression:

Prolonged period of sadness or not feeling "up to it," people who are always feeling not in the mood, who’d rather mope around the house and feel sorry for one’s self is the best example for this symptom of depression.

Feels hopeless, perennial pessimist: speaking of feeling sorry for one’s self, another common symptom of depression is when a person actually feels like he/she has nothing to look forward to in his or her life. As for being the perennial pessimist, those who show this symptom of depression are usually very negative about things, again, the feeling of hopelessness comes in to mind.

Guilt-driven, loss of self-worth and helplessness: other symptoms of depression that can be easily seen on people who prefer to mope around all day long are these. Whenever a person feels so guilty over something, that actually makes one a very sad person who feels like he or she doesn’t deserve to be happy. Thus, the loss of self-worth, if that person feels like he or she isn’t worthy of being happy or enjoying one’s self then that’s clear tell-tale symptom of depression. Helplessness also contribute to being depressed, when assuming that things won’t simply go your way, it’s already a clear saying that you have absolutely no hope in your body at all.

Isn’t interested in finding or taking pleasure; just dropping the hobbies as well as the other things that one used to enjoy: this tell-tale symptom of depression just shows how depressed a person can be, if one is actually too sad to take pleasure even in the very things that one loves then that person is seriously lacking something, rather, that person might well have caught the depression bug.

Fatigue, always tired: people suffering from depression, since they’ve lost whatever interest in life that they may have had before are actually lacking of physical energy at all times, if one would prefer to just mope around, probably won’t even eat not get enough sleep, a depressed person may well be on their way to not just a mental illness but depression can actually be terrible for one’s physical health as well.

Having trouble concentrating, having bad memory and is indecisive: a person who is suffering from depression easily gives away this tell-tale symptom of depression. Wherein one’s lack of interest with regards to the outside world or for just about anything for that matter can lead to that person’s inability to lose track of things and actually not be able to remember things that happened or what other people said. Lack of interest actually makes depressed people very inattentive.

There are actually more symptoms of depression that can actually help you see if a person (or you) needs to be brought to the doctor to get some help when it comes to depression: lacking sleep, sleeping too much or waking up at wee hours of the morning are all symptoms of depression (if it happens on a daily basis), appetite loss as well as eating too much may show one’s lack of enthusiasm for life. Be weary of sudden weight loss or weight gain in those around you. Being suicidal, talking about death, about wanting to die is another clear indication that that person is depressed. Being restless and irritable and physical symptoms that are usually brought about by poor mental health such as headaches, digestive disorders and various body pains.

Getting anxious over Anxiety Depression?

A lot of people who are exerting too much of their brain power usually exhaust not only their physical strength when engaging in various multi-tasking activities, they also tend to over extend their brains up to the point when it plainly needs some good old time for relaxation. A lot of busy people who seem to cannot fathom the idea of relaxing and taking time of from work, as well as their worries, tend to actually start having nervous breakdowns, anxiety depression and all sorts of mental illnesses that can cause a person's sanity to go haywire, fortunately, if you're one of those poor unfortunate ones who are unable to distress and is constantly worried and fussing over things, there are actually available cures and various treatments for treating anxiety depression.

Anxiety depression is actually characterized by all sorts of irregularities and erratic behavior from the person who is suffering from it, this is usuallu due to certain stress triggers that may tend to easily cause a person undue jitters and stress. Also, a lot of people who tend to get easily nervous over stressful activities are actually prone to having anxiety depression, its just a matter of being strong-willed when it comes to facing difficult and stress-prone activities. It may be pretty hard to overcome at first, but trying to be calm and cool in times of extreme pressure is what'll actually save your mental health from going totally downward spiral.

When it comes to effectively curing one's self from a mental illness, one must keep in mind that you have to be actually honest with yourself and assess what kind of depression or mental illness you actually have, go to reputable psychiatrist to get yourself diagnosed correctly as well as be able to get the right depression treatment for yourself. Here are the various types of depression:

Manic or Bipolar depression - characterized by sudden and extreme changes in one's mood wherein one minute he or she is in an elevated state of euphoria while the
next minute (day or week) he or she is feeling to be in a personal hell.

Postpartum depression - characterized by a prolonged sadness and a feeling of emptiness by a new mother wherein physical stress during child birth, an uncertain sense of responsibility towards the new born baby can be just some of the possible factors why some new mother go through this.

Dysthimia - characterized by a slight similarity with depression, although this time, it's been proven to be a lot less severe, but of course with any case, should be treated immediately.

Cyclothemia - characterized by a slight similarity with Manic or Bipolar depression wherein the individual suffering from this mental illness may occasionally suffer from severe changes in one's moods.

Seasonal Affective Disorder - characterized by falling in a rut only during specific seasons (i.e. Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall) studies however, prove that more people
actually fall in to a rut more during the Winter and Fall seasons and lastly, Mood swings, wherein a person's mood may shift from happy to sad to angry in just a short time.

But the type of depression that has actually been proven to be quite common among people is anxiety depression, which is actually characterized by the state of being overly anxious about things. Anxiety, a supposedly normal behavior that'll actually help a person adjust more to a certain stressful activity like first date jitters or a grueling exam the following day. Anxiety actually helps you get psyched up towards facing certain "difficult situations"; anxiety therefore is actually a good thing. Anxiety depression however, is simply the opposite, not to be easily dismissed as a "case of the nerves"; Anxiety depression is in actuality an illness that can be caused from the biological makeup of an individual, or in other words, a hereditary illness.

Also, there are actually various types of Anxiety depression, each having its own unique characteristics. Take for example Generalized Anxiety Disorder or GAD, this kind of Anxiety depression is a lot more complicated than the average Anxiety depression, in spite of possibly being a day-to-day habit for those who suffer this kind of Anxiety depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder actually makes the individual quite more paranoid than usual, anxiety attacks are more frequent, even absurd at times. They can even be anxious even when there's no apparent reason that calls for them to behave in such a way. People suffering from Generalized Anxiety Disorder actually shows a lot of symptoms, from lack of sleep, to being unable to relax, getting tired easily, cannot concentrate on what they're doing and even suffering from depression. This kind of Anxiety depression is still curable; just a little work will actually do the trick.

Consult a reputable cognitive behavior therapist who'll help give the individual the therapy that he or she needs to help him or her loosen up, also prescribed medicines are sort of a must to help these individuals battle anxiety attacks, help them calm down and relax.

Pharmacy online 1stonlinepharmacy.com

If You suffer decease, hence standing by for the fare of to medicinize costly. Quite frankly it does not interest me. In this article, I write about what, in my humble opinion, are the most important things in life, health and happiness.
All that most of my friends talk about is money:
What car do you drive?
What is the amount of the value of your home?
How much do you earn?
What was your costume cost?
Where are you going on vacation this year?
I find it very boring and think they are rather sad. They seem to be in a kind of competition, and they are basically obsessed by money.
Let me give you an example of such a friend, his name is John. It seems never to talk about anything else and is always looking to get rich quick schemes. It is also in a lottery syndicate, of which there are about fifty members. Each member pays a dozen books a week. John likes to go out socializing Saturday night, however, soon be itchy feet at the time of the lottery draw. A few minutes later, he went to the toilet where he will phone his girlfriend. He takes with him to the toilet a piece of paper with his number and a little about the feather. After his girlfriend told him that the numbers were drawn, John will then spend about twenty minutes checking his numbers, then re-check to see if it has the winning lines.

Finally, it is the group that seems very lively (apart from me) to find out how much he won or lost. So far, he has won only small amounts, but is convinced that one day he would become a millionaire. It will then begin to talk about the lottery, others asking people what they would buy if they had the chance to ever win. At this point, I become very annoyed and beginning to wish I had stayed at home to watch football.

For me, the two most important things in life are health and happiness. They are two things that money can not buy. A few years ago, my father became sick. He was in a real bad way and had to spend nearly five months in hospital. Him being sick has been a huge shock to me because he was only fifty-seven. I feared the worst, even if I try my hardest to think and stay positive. I remember thinking, if I gave everything I own these doctors in the world, it is not always help. I felt helpless and at that time understood that the money is only paper.

Happiness is the same, I remember at the age of twenty-one to have a lot of money and was surprised to see that I was depressed at the same time. At other times, I had no money and were extremely happy.

Make Your Love Blind

"Is love really blind?" I wonder. Having been happy married (and some of the time if not happily) for 30 years, I can not help but ask myself more frequently if my love is blind. Not surprisingly to me, the answer seems to be yes. Otherwise, how could I go through various difficult moments in our relationship? The logic that we would have broken up by now. The next question I was asked was whether it was a good thing that my love is blind.

I found an interesting article in the book "An Introduction to Positive Psychology" by WC Compton with the song "Love Is Blind Really?". What you will find in the rest of the article is based on what Compton wrote with my thoughts.

In our mind, very often, we have photos of our partners that are inaccurate. We have what is called the "positive" romantic illusions of our partners. Illusions These explain why we are oblivious to the faults of our partners and seduces of them.

While these illusions have tended to decline over time, it is also true that they may also strengthen over time, but with different characteristics.

In the first case, when marital problems surface, and if the illusions disappear completely, it could lead to a possible breakdown of marriage. Fortunately, most of the time, illusions could weaken but do not disappear completely. The fragment could help ourselves to face the storms in relationships.

In the latter case, the marriage would remain strong, even though there may be many situations or incidents that could destroy a weak relationship. It could even increase our willingness to accept many mistakes and errors apparent, and even idiosyncrasies, our partners. Now let's see why this happens.

It was found that couples who idealized their partner's attributes, or exaggerated beliefs about control over the relationship, or were too optimistic about the future of their relationship, have been happier. Their relations are also more stable and longer life.

These observations lead me to the following conclusions / conclusions:

It is through positive romantic illusions about our partners to explain why we choose our partners and not someone else.

The positive romantic illusions about our partners to help us maintain our partners, even in bad weather and under other adverse conditions. We could continue to keep a deliberately biased positively our partners in order to maintain and even improve the relationship.

There is mutual enrichment of romantic illusions positive that the partners have for each other.

People are more committed to their spouses who see the positive.

However, if the stress in the couple's life lead to tension in the relationship, romantic illusions positive could begin to fall apart, leading each partner to realize that they have been deceived themselves on the quality of their partners. Without the presence of positive romantic illusions, the relationship can deteriorate very quickly.

Overall then, it is good for couples to maintain the illusion that they have romantic positive. In this way, they will remain "in love" and continue to experience all the joys of romantic love.

The Law of Attraction-4 Steps

Now, onto the Power of the Law of Attraction-What it is not-magic, fake, or a cure-all. What it is-the basis of how subjective reality works, the art of manipulating energy, a principle. Everything is energy. At our most molecular level, we are zooming particles of energy. The law of attraction states that whatever you think about, you bring about. You can't control anybody else's attractions because only YOU exist in the subjective reality model. By focusing on yourself, you can see the change you want. This gives Mahatma Gandhi's quote "Be the change you want to see in the world" a whole new twist. What are the Steps?1) Become what you desire. Desire, but not attachment, is the starting point for everything. Our choices shape who we become. What do you desire? Don't think about it, don't talk about it-BECOME it. One very common theme that comes up with clients is one of MONEY. They say they would like to be more abundant, and I tell them then BE it. What makes you feel more abundant? Do it. The old adage goes-"Dress for success" but the truth is that you must transform into what you wish to be. We have a very linear concept of time, when in reality all that exists is the NOW. If you think about your past, it becomes your now. If you think about the future, it becomes your now. Our minds really don't have a concept of time. Whatever we think about, becomes our now. So if you can bring the 'future' into the now by becoming what you desire, you are aligning your energy to attract what you want. LIKE ATTRACTS LIKE. Yes, opposite poles attract, BUT like vibrations attract like results. Like particles flow in the same direction.2) Let your thoughts flow only where you will dare to go. Our thoughts are powerful, so focus them only on the things you want. If you wouldn't want what you are thinking about to manifest, then its best to think about something else.3) Feel GOOD! This is the most underrated yet the most important step. When we are feeling good, we attract good things. Feeling good involves removing energy drains and introducing things that make us feel better! When we feel good, our energy is vibrating with the things we love, and hence attracting even more of those things!4) Take inspired action. There has also been a lot of speculation here. To take action or not to take action? Personally, this was the step I had to really "unlearn." We are all great at taking action, it is our thoughts that need help. Action is what we do best. We are a culture of go-getters. Inspired action is about becoming a magnet instead of pulling things to you. It is about learning to draw experiences and events that you want, rather than chasing after them. BECOME what you want, and the details will be attracted into your life. BECOME wealthy, and money will be attracted to you. Take action that feels good. If it feels like you are struggling-then that is probably not the way to go. Action is great. Enjoy the process of getting there, because there really is no "over there." The fun is in the journey! The old "no pain, no gain" is definitely not what we are aiming for here. Release struggle and embrace action that feels good. = )
Shama Hyder is a an international law of attraction based success coach, speaker, and the creator of the phenomenal WOW coaching process. Happiness is subjective. It can be defined as your personal opinion as to how pleasurable, satisfying or gratifying your life is.Positive Psychology (founded by Martin Seligman, Ph.D. at the University of Pennsylvania) has been actively pursuing research to discover more about the state of happiness for over a decade. Several things have been discovered about the pursuit of happiness:• It is more global than ever before.• It is not viewed as futile.Recent research indicates that when you are happy, you tend to:• Be more social and creative.• Earn more money (although once basic needs are met, the actual level of income is not associated with happiness).• Be happily married.• Be more resilient.• Have a stronger immune system and longer life.Perhaps, because we know more about the benefits of happiness than ever before, it seems it is important to learn how to be happier. In the past, researchers believed your level of happiness was 50-80% inherited. According to this view, you have a set point or range for happiness similar to weight. After a happy or sad experience, you will return to your set point of happiness. For instance, if you win the lottery or get the promotion you wanted, about 1 year later, you will be as happy as you were before your good fortune.Another belief that supports the set point theory is what is called the "hedonic treadmill." It views both negative and positive events as only temporarily decreasing or increasing your level of happiness. It believes that you will adjust to the new situations over time. This holds true if you get a new house, job, car, or become disabled. It is also believed that happiness may be somewhat dependent on your personality preference, i.e. introversion/extraversion. Some definitions of happiness are highly associated with socializing and what is typically thought of as more extraverted behavior.Sonya Lyubomirsky, Ph.D., has been doing research on happiness over the last eighteen years at the University of California, Riverside. Her latest work is more optimistic about being able to increase levels of happiness. She has discovered three factors that determine happiness:1. Genetic – set point is stable over time (50%).2. Life circumstances or situations you find yourself in at the time (10%).3. Choices we make after basic needs are met (40%).This indicates that the choices you make daily will have a lot to do with how happy you will be. It also makes you more responsible for your own happiness. It is known that exceptionally happy people think of themselves, their peers, and life events in ways that seem to maintain their happiness. They react to life circumstances in adaptive ways and more optimistically. In contrast, unhappy people think of their situation in ways that tend to reinforce unhappiness. They believe a situation cannot change and tend to generalize their pessimism to other areas of their life.

Specific things that are known to increase levels of happiness and show promise of moving your set point higher over time are:• Being aware of your blessings and acknowledging what you are grateful for at least several times a week.• Savoring good things that happen.• Avoiding comparing yourself to your peers and obsessing on negative outcomes.• Practicing small acts of kindness to others.• Having self-awareness and self-management to allow time for meditation, yoga and smiling at others.• Viewing negative things as temporary and specific rather than permanent and pervasive.Aristotle said "happiness depends on ourselves." New research indicates that with commitment and effort, you can influence 40% of your happiness. It is necessary to take time to make choices that will enhance your level of happiness starting today. The choice is up to you.

Maurine Patten, Ed.D., CMC, Maximize Your Possibilities http://www.pattencoaching.com/ Mailto:mdpcoach@pattencoaching.com More free information, E.I. Hang out with people who think positive as well. This condition can be quite infectious.3. Just as contagious is a negative mindset. So avoid people who tend to think negatively on a constant basis. After all, who wants to hang around naysayers all the time?4. Work out and eat right. If you look good on the outside, it’ll be easier to feel good on the inside, too.5. De-clutter. Surround yourself only with the things you love and that make you feel good—framed family photos, favorite books, potted plants, works of art, or whatever else that’s meaningful to you.6. If people tell you you can’t do something, take that as a challenge and prove them wrong. Chances are, they themselves can’t do it or are too afraid to try and are simply bitter about it. If you show them it can be done after all, maybe they’ll even be inspired by your success. You can be a living tip for positive thinking to them.7. Just when you’re about to blow your top for all the seeming misfortunes that befall you, remind yourself of all your blessings instead. This practice can be very sobering, indeed.8. Be a volunteer or get involved in charity work. Not only will you realize the sheer number of people who have bigger problems than you do, but there is also such an emotional and even spiritual high to be experienced in helping others.9. De-stress. You’re more likely to be cranky if you’re perpetually stressed out. So get away from it all and recharge. 10. Keep it up. Getting started is easy. It’s the maintenance that’s tricky. Make a habit out of thinking positively till it becomes an indelible part of who you are.Follow these 10 tips for positive thinking and be successful in your search for a happier and healthier frame of mind.
Michael Lee is unbelievably giving away over $2355 worth of the best self-help ebooks FREE at http://www.20daypersuasion.com/goldaccess.htm so take advantage now before it’s too late!
Article Source: http://www.ArticleBiz.com

Money Doesn't Buy Happiness?

The individual that coined the saying "money can't buy you happiness" was most likely never without money, and if they were ever poor they certainly forgot what that was like when they made that remark. I wonder if that person could still believe their words after a week of having absolutely no money. I have also heard others say, something to the effect of, "money doesn't buy happiness but it buys the things which will make you happy". Well goodness me, that's what some would say is the same difference. Money does buy happiness and in order to truly enjoy life one must get rich beyond what their stagnant mind set could believe possible. Acquire money, lots and lots of money. Get rich, get wealth, get paid, get money. I think I've been clear. The best education costs enough money to feed a small country with at least rice and clean water for a week. A reliable automobile costs a pretty penny, even if it is second hand. Quality and suitable clothing don't have to be of the utmost in cost but are rarely free. Rent, mortgage, water, heat. Shelter, food, and amenities that should not be considered luxury rather requirements for civilized human living, cost a great deal even if you conserve and use coupons. Hospital and doctor visits are not free of charge. We haven't even gotten into how expensive having any sort of entertainment in your life will cost. I could rack up a list that would take all day to read so I'll stop there. The time is now to really see how much you deserve to enjoy all that life has to offer. Be passionate about life and jump into being successful financially wholeheartedly. If you could do one thing for yourself it should be to get rich. Once you are rich you can allow yourself to enjoy good food, entertainment, travel, superior education, fine living, lavish and luxury, so on and so forth. If you have an entrepreneurial spirit then get into an investment opportunity that will allow you to profit greatly and see a large return. If it is in your nature to be subordinate then at least discover how you can work your way up in your place of employment, possibly even easing yourself into a position of entrepreneurialism. You have what it takes so when those juvenile and defeatist thoughts come into your mind shoot them down because they'll get you nowhere. It may be cheesy but you really should only allow positive thinking about what you desire and positive supportive people around you while you're building your dream. Once you've found your niche and discovered what your passionate about and will do well with the money will come streaming in. Each day that we allow ourselves to put achieving our goals and dreams aside we fail. We fail at attaining what is rightfully ours, and that is comfort in life, the ability to go to sleep and wake up rested and knowing another day has come that we can enjoy to the fullest without worry. Scraping by pay check to pay check or over extended on credit cards at the end of each month can only lead to stress and stress related illness, which pretty much every illness is triggered or worsened by stress.Take some time out for yourself every day to enjoy life, brainstorm about how you can achieve great wealth and never give up until you are financially free. We all have our own idea of what it means to be financially independent and what comfortable living means so it is ultimately up to you how much money you need in order to deem yourself financially rich.
If you have any questions or comments please do not hesitate to contact me at: 1(905) 538 9272 or email: blossomingparadiseimports@hotmail.com. Unfortunately, people tend to see the negatives in life more than they see the positives.I blame this negative attitude on the media and on the "doomsday" people who believe that almost everything is a sign of the apocalypse. It's not.Bad things have been occurring for hundreds of years, and we're still here! If you want to change your life by being, and staying, happy, try one or more of these tips!1) He Who Has the Money…I have always believed that the old saying, "money can't buy happiness" is wrong. Money can definitely buy happiness. The trick isn't focusing on how much more money you could have, but in focusing on how much money you do have.Figure out how you can squeeze some extra money out. Maybe it's by working a few hours of overtime, or by having a garage sale.A little extra money to purchase something that you want can go a long way to making you happy.2) Saving For A Rainy DayInstead of spending your extra money, why not roll some of it into your retirement fund or into the bank?We tend to live in the now, and worry about the future. Instead of worrying about it, do something about it!If you stash ten dollars a week into a savings account, you'll have over five hundred dollars by the end of the year! That can be used to help prepare for your future!3) TimeWhen's the last time you took two consecutive hours for yourself?Every week I make sure that I take two hours away from my boyfriend, and family members. Some weeks I spend time pampering myself in the bathroom, while other weeks I just take a two hour drive with the music cranked.A few hours away from reality can do wonders for your mental and physical health. If it's difficult to take a few hours every week, try taking a day a month and marking it as "your" special day.Head to a spa, or walk around a mall and browse. Go sit by a pond or lake and read a book, or spend the day, alone, in your home, surrounded by movies and snacks. The point is to spend the time alone, so that you have no stress.4) Marry For LoveIt used to be that marriages were arranged for political or monetary gain.Thankfully this is generally out of practice in most countries. I see too many high school kids, generally girls, rushing out of school, excited to start a family.Unfortunately, they are often in such a hurry that they marry the first suitable guy and find themselves miserable a few years down the road when they discover what their spouse is truly like.I have always maintained that you should live with someone before you marry them, because nothing is hidden when you live with someone.Don't be in a rush to get married. Instead, wait until you are absolutely positively sure that the person you're with is the person you are meant to be with.

How can you do this?Close your eyes. Now envision yourself an old, old person. Are they still sitting next to you, holding your hand?If they are, than congratulations: you have likely found the person for you. If they're not, make sure you don't rush into marriage, as you may discover that there is someone else out there that is meant for you.5) Find Happiness in Small ThingsA beautiful butterfly just flittered past you. An old friend called to rebuild your friendship.Your boss told you that you did a good job recently. These are little things that you need to focus on if you want to live a happy life.Big things are great, but they tend to not roll around very often. Instead of looking ahead to the next "big" thing, focus on all the little things that happen every day that brighten up your world.6) Slow Down and Hear The SweetnessFour years ago I realized that I was very tense and cranky during the day.I turned on the radio and immediately saw a difference in myself. The tension dropped from my shoulders and I felt the energy to dance to the beat on the radio.Music has a huge impact on how we feel, both emotionally and physically.Try to make a specific time during the day to listen to a little music. If you do it when you're trying to do an unpleasant task, such as cleaning the house, you'll find that the time goes by much faster and more pleasantly!7) Get It On!The other day a friend of mine called me and told me what a rough day she'd had.I told her that she should go find her fiancé and make love with him. She laughed and told me that she'd just done that, which was the only reason she was able to still function.Sex is a wonderful way to release endorphins, which make you feel happy. If you don't have the time, or privacy, for a full sweaty session of sex, try cuddling together for a few minutes.Often those few minutes of peacefulness can help you to leave all of the bad things that happened during the day in the past.

Download AMAZING FREE Video tutorial at http://www.retrievealover.com/ and learn various ways to save a marriage or relationship, with tons of tips on how to command attention, change Minds, influence your lover, and get what you want in Life and Love. Has anyone ever caused serious injury to you either emotionally, mentally or physically? Are you or any of your family a victim of a heinous crime? You are not alone. At some point of our lives, we had experienced hurt caused by our loved ones, friends, and even people whom we are not acquainted with. Although some have found a way to forgive their offenders but many of us are still trapped in brokenness and forgiveness seems to be the last thing we ever will do; let alone cursing and wanting evil to happen to our offenders. When we have been hurt, all we wanted to know is the reason why the hurtful action or words were directed at us. Many times we ask questions such as: "Why did he do that to me? I’m innocent!", "I don’t deserve to be treated like this at all, why did it happen to me and not to others?, "I thought we are good friends, but how could someone did that to a good friend?"Some may be bold enough to confront their offenders and seek answers. While others rather not see their offenders again in their lifetime and the unfound answer to their "why" questions will only deepen their brokenness. The step to forgiveness is even harder for those who have been abused physically where their scars remain a constant prove of injustice done to them. For some, the offenders have been caught and are now serving jail terms. Yet for others, their perpetrators are still looming around freely; victimizing more people. Whether you have been emotionally, mentally or physically hurt by someone, and you have not forgiven the offender, please stop living in brokenness. Allow yourself to live a life of fullness and happiness. We may think that if we forgive our offenders, it will only let them know that what they have done is acceptable and we don’t hold them guilty anymore. Also, if our offenders know we have forgiven them, they may see no wrong in what they did and continue hurting us. Well, let me share with you another perspective. It is not how the offender reacts that matters. It is how you choose to react to the hurt caused. Whether the offender seeks forgiveness from us and lives the rest of their lives feeling guilty, or the offender has no sense of humanity in the wicked act done, it does not matter. What really matter is how you take control of your life, not allowing your offender to ruin it.It is never easy. We all have tried to forgive but at times we let our anger dictate our willingness to forgive. This simply means that if we are still angry at our offenders, we should not forgive them "now" but sometime "later" when the anger is gone. Such a day will never come until we deal with ourselves first.Start forgiving in layers. Many of us think that once you forgive, you are healed completely and your anger will be gone forever. This is not true. We have to keep forgiving until the day you no longer feel angry or hurt about the offense. While doing that, you are also allowing yourself to release the pain which otherwise will be kept inside for as long as you choose not to forgive. For some, forgiveness takes weeks, and for others, it may take years. The time it takes to completely forgive a person does not matter. It is the time you begin forgiving that changes your life.

Talk to someone and share your feelings. If you think forgiving your offender may be too huge a burden to begin with, talk to a close friend, your spouse, family member, or anyone you can confide in. As you share the incident and hurts to someone, you are being heard and empathized. This is one of the major factors that make forgiveness possible. All you need is to validate your hurts and have someone understand what you went through. Sharing is not good enough; you will need to begin forgiveness by having someone walk the forgiveness path with you, if you can’t do it alone. Choose to live and not hate. It takes more energy to love than to hate. It’s true. Do you remember the last time you hated someone? Weren’t you overwhelmed by negative emotions and you just can’t do anything in that state of emotion? This is what happens when you choose not to forgive. Not only will you harbor resentment and bitterness in, but your health will also be greatly affected. High blood pressure, depression, and headache are just several health problems related to unforgiveness. Why allow yourself to suffer these consequences when you deserve to life a more fulfilling and happier life after what you had gone through or are still going through? Before you go to bed today, think about someone whom you have not forgiven. Start your forgiveness process today. When you do that, the healing of your hurts will take place and set you free from your emotional brokenness. When you look back a few years from now, you will be glad that you choose to forgive instead of to hate. Let this powerful transformation lead you to a path of emotional freedom and a life of abundance because you only live once in this lifetime

Author, Sarah Taylors, manages a directory that provides women related information and links to websites that sell products & services for women consumers. You may find yourself talking with friends and family about increasing levels of stress. It can feel like happiness is more illusive than ever before.Happiness is different things to different people. To some, it is a life without doubt, anger or sadness. To others, it is the ability to receive pleasant things or to focus on what is good rather than fixing what is wrong. In finding the route to happiness, I am defining happiness as an internal state, usually positive, based on your feelings, traits and strengths. According to Martin Seligman, founder of Positive Psychology and author of Authentic Happiness (2002), there are three levels of happiness:• the pleasurable life• the good life• the meaningful life.Exciting research shows that although there is a genetic link for depression, happiness can be learned or increased because it is not something that happens to you. It is something you make happen. In addition to Seligman, Mihaly Csikszentmehalyi and Dan Baker have conducted research over the last decade on "Flow" and happiness. This information gives you more insight into how to increase levels of happiness, gratification and/or meaning in your life.Seligman had identified six virtues that define "good character" in almost every culture. These virtues are:• wisdom/knowledge• courage• love/humanity• temperance• justice• spirituality/transcendenceHe has also identified twenty-four strengths that describe behaviors that lead to the above virtues. Each person has five strengths that are Signature Strengths. When used daily, they define what will give you a sense of gratification and meaning in your life. To determine your strengths go to http://www.AuthenticHappiness.org or http://www.viastrengths.org. It will take about 45 minutes to answer the 240 item inventory. But at some point in your life, like everybody, you too have got moments where you were so close to your real you, that you thought you were in heaven. You were so perfectly aligned with yourself and your mission on earth that you felt the magic of life . You said "all is well." In this article I will help you to discover your own secret success formula, so you can create those magic moments on purpose.Close your eyes for a minute and view your life as in a movie, from your childhood until now. What are the moments that jump out? When did you feel fantastic? When did you have the feeling that life is beautiful? That you were so happy and light that you felt afloat? These are extraordinary moments were you touched your deepest core, your true nature. It could happen anywhere: while you’re taking a walk in the forest, while working in the garden, witnessing a sunset, praying or meditating, making love, watching your children play, looking in your lover’s eyes, or even while dreaming. Maybe you won a certain competition, ran into an old friend, or met a wonderful new person. It could have been a grand pompous moment, or something inside yourself that nobody else knows about. Now write down some of these moments, 3 or 4 of them, and write especially the feelings you had during these moments. What did you experience? Lightness, love, a sense of belonging, the feeling that everything was good and beautiful? Put yourself again in one of these moments, by your imagination and souvenir, and feel the experience as if you were in it again. This was your real you. This IS your real you! Look at these moments : what did you do, with whom, where and how, that made you feel so wonderful, so very much yourself? Try to find the common element in these moments. It’s pretty much like discovering the ingredients of a very good tasting bread. What are the elements coming back in every of these magic moments? Does it always involve children, or elder people? Did you every time display a lot of courage or perseverance? Did these moments always occur while you were performing on stage, or working intellectually on a great project, or taking care of disabled people, or working with animals?Try to find the ingredients of your success moments. Notice the environment in which they occurred, the feelings you experienced, what kind of people were around you, what you were doing, which talents you used, and if you needed courage, perseverance, faith, inner strength or another virtue. Once you know the ingredients that made your moments of success, you can create those experiences again, on purpose. Those "perfect moments" do not happen by accident. At these moments you were just perfectly aligned at your mission on earth. You were at the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing with the right people. This feeling of "rightness" gives you satisfaction and shows you how important it is to be on track with your mission.

Written by Ineke Van Lint, psychologist, the expert in happiness and the joy of living. If you spend most of your time paying attention to the problems in your life, you are more likely to feel troubled and anxious. Conversely, if you choose to focus on what works in your life, or on the positive things in your surroundings, you will feel calmer and more optimistic. You will also find that you manage stress better. It is not that your problems are not important and I am certainly not suggesting that you ignore them. However, there are many, many other aspects of your life that you can focus on.Paying attention to your daily blessings may not change your problems, but it can transform your attitude towards life, and this will make you better able to deal with the issues you face. You will be happier when you focus on the positive and better able to manage stress in your life.Notice the simple pleasuresThere is a saying, "The person who finds treasure in pebbles, is wealthy indeed." There are so many simple pleasures around you at any moment - the beauty of a clear blue sky, the sound of birdsong, the crisp sweetness of a good apple. Pay attention to the satisfaction of a good chat with a friend or your child's enthusiasm over a small accomplishment.Advertising supports the belief that material possessions make us happy. It's easy to fall into the trap of thinking that you need that flashy new car or the latest widescreen TV to feel good.Research has demonstrated that you soon become accustomed to the things that you buy. Sooner or later they lose their power to provide satisfaction. Yet you are surrounded at all times by small things that can give you pleasure, things which cost little or nothing. All you need to do is take notice and allow yourself to be delighted anew with the simple pleasures you encounter.Replace Taking Things for Granted with GratitudeThere is so much in our lives that we take for granted. Taking the time to appreciate these things will enhance your feeling of well being and increase your happiness. The people around you perform many tasks you may barely notice. The chores your spouse or children perform may be part of what you expect of them. It may be true that your coworkers are just doing their job. However, pausing for a moment to recognize the value what they do can give you a feeling of satisfaction. Expressing your appreciation to them will support their ongoing effort and make your relationships stronger.Notice the things you do well. Give yourself credit for your accomplishments. I am astonished at the way my clients focus on the mistakes they make, ignoring their successes. You deserve to give yourself credit for the things you do right. In addition, by focusing on what you do that works, you become an expert in the solutions, rather than the problems in your life.If you are blessed with good health, be conscious of the gift of vigor and feeling well. Your heart beats every moment of every day and you don't even need to think about it. Your digestive system efficiently does its job with no attention whatsoever from you. That is truly a miracle!
Try an ExperimentResearch has shown that people who spend time appreciating their pleasurable experiences enjoy higher levels of happiness. You can replicate these experiments in your own life.Put a pad beside your bed and right before you go to sleep write down five things that you appreciated during the day. These can be very simple pleasures like enjoying the successful accomplishment of a task or receiving an unexpected kindness from a co-worker or the fun of playing with a pet. They can be sensual pleasures such as seeing a beautiful sunset, or the intense chocolate flavor of the ice cream you ate at lunch. Life truly is made of little things.Practice doing this for two weeks. On the first night, record your level of happiness on a scale from 1 to 10. Then repeat this rating fourteen days later. If you are like most people, you will notice that your overall level of happiness has improved. This may lead you to continue the practice of noting down just before bed the simple pleasures you appreciate !Whether you make a disciplined practice of noting down the things you appreciate or just spend a moment taking notice, you will become happier when you experience appreciation and you will be better able to manage stress in your life.
Drawing on skills and expertise developed over 30 years experience, Jeannette Samanen PhD provides effective life coaching, empowering you to achieve your goals. Being happy protects you from the stresses of life. And stress is linked to the top causes of death like heart disease, cancer and strokes. One of the best things ever said is - 'The only thing in life that will always remain the same is change', and in our life we have the power to make the necessary changes if we want to. Even if we find ourselves in an unbearable situation we can always find solace in the knowledge that it too would change. To be happy is relatively easy, just decide to do it and remind yourself everyday that you are a happy person. Abraham Lincoln observed that most people for most of the time can choose how happy or stressed, how relaxed or troubled, how bright or dull their outlook to be. The choice is simple really, choose to be happy. Here are some suggestions by which you can do this. Being grateful, we have so much to be thankful for. Thank your better half for being so wonderful to you, thank the cook for a delicious dinner and the guy or gal who cleans your floors. Offering praise makes you feel good and makes them feel good too. Making other people happy can bring joy to you.Stop watching the news, news is stressful. Get less of it. Some people just can't start their day without their daily dose of news. 99% of the news we hear or read is bad news. Starting the day with bad news does not seem to be a sensible thing to do. Avoid watching so much news and see how much better you feel.A spiritual connection is another great way to promote happiness. Being part of a group that promotes peace and happiness with singing, chanting, prayers and meditation can help foster inner peace.Manage your time. Time is valuable and too important to waste. Time management can be viewed as a list of rules. You should schedule your time, set goals, make a plan, create lists of things to do and prioritize. These are the core basics of time management that should be understood and implemented to develop an efficient personal time management skill. By managing your time you will reduce stress and anxiety, increasing your productivity.Working hard brings tremendous personal satisfaction. It gives a feeling of being competent when finishing the task. Accomplishments are necessary to increase self worth, they give us a sense of value. Work on things that you feel worthy of your time.Learning is also a joyful exercise. Try and learn something new everyday. Learning also makes us expand and broaden our horizons. Learning also opens doors giving us more opportunities in the future.
Are you interested in learning how you can earn $100 to $500 a day with the internet? It's a way of how you see situations that happen in life. For example, you're caught in traffic for hours. As soon as you get the chance to break free, another driver cuts in. A group of life coaches and psychologists explain that if you're happy, you won't get out of the car and scold the other driver, kick his car, and fret that your day is all messed up. Instead, positive behaviors pump in so you breathe in and out for ten times; you try to understand that the other driver is in a real emergency; you sit back and let the other car cut through; and you just be grateful that you still have a room for stress relief and look forward to more inspiring things to happen in that day. Ask most people how to find true happiness and what would make them happy, and they would tell you that a promotion, a new car, wining the lottery, or just getting married would give them true happiness. They are blinded by their belief that real happiness is something that the world provides. In reality, true happiness depends on your outlook in life. It comes from within.Every person asks how to find true happiness; but you must understand that happiness, like most things, does not happen overnight. The key is to be content with what you have and work out a plan to achieve the things you want. For this to happen, you must have a set of goals. The same goals will help you create out a vision and a meaning to live each day. Instead of worrying too much, look at the better possibilities of each situation. Have confidence in your ability to handle life's issues. Never focus on how to be happy just by dreaming about it; for affirmations work better if your actions lead you to your goals. By then you will enjoy what you're doing and understand how to find true happiness.
Michael Lee is unbelievably giving away the most powerful success strategies to find true happiness and dramatically transform your life at http://www.20daypersuasion.com/articlelist.html
Article Source: http://www.ArticleBiz.com
